The mortising attachment made for a router table is Leigh's latest innovation.
Router tables are incredibly popular today and are found in most workshops. The Leigh RTJ400 is specifically designed to be used with such tables, allowing for easy creation of full, half-blind, and box joints. The RTJ400 is made from aircraft-grade aluminum and is CNC machined to provide you with extremely high precision.

5/16", 3/8", and 7/16"
up to 1"(25mm) thick materials
connections up to 5/8"(16mm) thick

Half-Blind Mortises
Both side and front of the box are routed in one go
evenly spaced mortises with
approximately 3/4"(40mm) spacing
3 different sizes: 3/8", 1/2", 19/32"
handles materials up to 25mm thick
flat or sides with sliding tracks,
box fronts, full-blind mortises.
Box Joint Mortising
four mortise sizes, 3/4", 3/8",
3/16", and 3/32"
for joining boxes and small jewelry boxes, etc.
Angled Mortises
Simple angles
planter boxes
End-to-End Connections
Route straight or angled end-to-end mortises with three different routing depths.
Frames, etc.
It's quick and easy to make all three types of connections with your RTJ400. Center the material on the template and route through the template to make perfect connections. One template for all connections.
A step-by-step manual in English is included, along with a DVD instruction. Important: Router tables often use a guide or a bearing when routing. However, a bushing is needed that is mounted on the router table. Leigh's bushings (E system) Therefore, you need to check that the measurements match according to the description below. Leigh e-coupling and nut to attach the e-system to your router table insert. You need a 1-3/8" diameter countersunk hole.
