LEIGH Super Jigs have many of the same features as the Leigh D4R Pro Dovetail Jig, and offer great value. They are available in 12", 18", and 24" models to meet the needs of every woodworker and every budget. You can rout varying spacings through dovetails and half-blind dovetails in different material sizes and thicknesses in two passes, or both sides of fixed measurements on half-blind dovetails at the same time. Super Jigs can also create sliding dovetails and 5/16" and 5/8" box joints (straight) right out of the box.
Super Jigs are designed for use by woodworking enthusiasts of all levels. Leigh has made advanced woodworking easy in every way, with user guides and instructional videos available for everyone!
What router should I use?
Leigh recommends a mid-sized hand-held router with an 8 mm collet for the included router bits. Similar to the Festool OF 1400 or other hand-held routers of the same size. A collet from 1/2" to 8mm is also included in case it fits your router's original one. This size offers a good balance between power and weight. Plunge routers with a fixed base are ideal since they have a lower center of gravity with handles mounted on the router's base rather than the motor. When purchasing a router, consider ergonomics, flexibility, and adjustment options. It is important to have a router that maintains measurements.

3 router bits with 8mm shank (box joint, dovetail, half-blind)
